[Multivision] From Villefranche to Marseille

Abstract :
Each year from 2003 to 2010 students following the computer sciences option of the school of architecture of Marseille Luminy realize a website based on the analysis of architectural and urban heritage building and sites situated in Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur. This work allows them to implement their new knowledge and to create a professional product, that is a CD-ROM and website which certify the skills obtained by the promotion.
If the first objective of this exhibition is to present the work of these students and relates how computer tools and analysis models can support and create new knowledge about architectural projects, it is also addressed to a public at a large scale which is interested in the history of conception, realization and renovation of these famous architectural buildings from the XVI to the XX century in South of France.
