I am interested in local development, innovation and regeneration of competence networks in SMEs production systems: these are my fields of teaching and research (both in theroy and applied research).
A complementary field is enhancing an active knowldge of the local context (economy and society) in a global perspective: this is the action research programm of OFFICINA EMILIA, by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (http://www.officinaemilia.unimore.it), offering hands-on laboratories on history, technology and science to improve the quality of the education system.
